Attorney Tom Harper will once again be an official presenter for San Diego Comic-Con, where he will be discussing legal issues in pop culture. San Diego Comic-Con is the world’s largest multi-genre entertainment and comic book convention, which is annually attended by more than 130,000 people. In light of the ongoing pandemic, Comic-Con switched to an entirely virtual format for the first time in its 50-year history. Tom will be part of a panel of attorneys discussing a wide range of legal issues seen through the lens of Godzilla and other “kaiju” movies. From the legality of shelter-in-place orders to the legal liability for monster attacks, the discussion will be a fun and educational look at one of the most popular monster film franchises of all time.
